Small Cheap Desk – $1
Mid Century Mudlarks are all about that super cheap find. Sometimes that means we acquire furniture that isn’t in pristine condition and that’s OK with us. Take this disk for example. Sure it needs a bit of TLC but when a seller says, “I’m taking any offers (best and probably first wins), including $1. Or free if you’re a good at negotiating.” we’re ready with our Mudlark Seal Of Approval… [CL]
Office Chair From God Knows Where – $85
There’s not much info on this office chair but it doesn’t fucking matter, it’s so very hot. Who cares who made it or what vintage it is, the style is totally original and a Mudlark can’t remember the last time they saw a similar chair. So if you’ve got a desk that needs seating please snatch this up, like now. [CL]
Floating Walnut Desk, Eh – $250
Walnuts are OK, not amazing. That’s kinda how a Mudlark feels about this desk. If you read the description without actually seeing it, you’d be all excited and ready to throw down that $250, but sadly this desk isn’t as good as it could be. This walnut desk with floating top just lacks that sophisticated mid century style that warms a Mudlark’s blood. Nonetheless we post this desk because we know someone out there will appreciate its looks and maybe the photos just aren’t doing this walnut justice? [CL]
Labofa Desk Chair – $80
This Labofa office chair looks like it’s pretty comfy and in decent condition, so it wouldn’t really be a bad purchase would it you-wana-be Mudlark? [CL]
George Nelson X Herman Miller Desk – $30
This George Nelson designed desk for Herman Miller, model # MR5794, with 2 plastic drawers and 1 plastic hanging file drawer is a wonderful steal for $30. This isn’t the first George Nelson X Herman Miller desk that a Mudlark has stumbled upon but at this price ye’d be a fool not to buy this thing and throw it in your garage as an outside workspace. [CL]
Teak Writing Desk – $175
This teak writing / secretary desk might not encapsulate an amazing style but we Mudlarks think its function would surely make up for it. Say if you needed a desk in a spot that couldn’t accommodate a full-fledged workspace, a small secretary desk is a perfect solution. Paying $175 bucks isn’t too bad, but to make it a Mudlark-deal we’d offer something under $150. Note: A fellow Mudlark tried offering a Benjy but the seller didn’t bite… [CL]
Dresser-Corner-Desk, Really? – $290
It’s pieces like this dresser-corner-desk combo that really make us Mudlarks rethink what we know about Mid Century furniture. A mudlark didn’t even know a style like this existed! That point aside this dresser-desk is a perfect find for someone who needs a dresser and a desk and has an ample corner to support it. The $290 price tag is slightly too high for Mudlarkin’ but the seller states they are open to offers. May a Mudlark suggest an offer just under to $200? [CL]
